We all know that Easter brings families together to visit and participate in a celebration of Spring.
After asking some of my friends who have both small children and elders at these visits what they wished to see more of was “wishing the kids would spend more time with the elderly family members.” After giving this thought some consideration, the idea came to me that maybe doing a craft project with both the youngest and oldest members might be a way to increase socialization while having fun.
Using crafts to keep children and elderly family members interacting at family get-togethers is a win-win situation for the whole family. Below is an example of a fun and easy craft you can find on the internet:
